Bryon Russell is a Black LGBTQIA+ spiritual mental health counselor that goes by he/him pronouns. He is currently a Clinical Mental Health Intern with Journey Wellness and Counseling. Bryon is a student at Stockton University obtaining his Master’s in clinical mental health counseling to earn his credential as an LPC. His passion is LGBTQIA/gender affirming issues and life purpose/career concerns. His hope is that through his honed skills and care, he can help guide every life that he reaches to be able to independently participate in keeping their mental health well and consistently improved.
His purpose is to show individuals that through avid support and psychoeducation they can live their best lives despite the intersectionality that comes with marginalized groups; especially black and brown POC. He looks forward to creating blooming counseling relationships with individuals who are ready to live their full authentic lives and to garner the tools needed to create safe spaces despite some places where individuals' existence may not be appreciated. Bryon does offer Saturday virtual hours.
